First call for mitigation activity proposals is now open
Developers may submit activity idea notes for review against the national eligibility criteria. The call closes at the end of the quarter.
The Carbon Market Office invites submissions of mitigation activity idea notes under the first national call for proposals. The call is open to registered participants across all technology scopes recognised in the Malawi Carbon Market Framework.
Submissions are assessed against additionality, safeguards, benefit-sharing and alignment with Malawi’s Nationally Determined Contribution. Activities that pass the initial screen proceed to full technical examination.
How to submit
- Register your organisation with the Office and obtain a participant account.
- Complete the activity idea note template published alongside this notice.
- Submit through the Malawi Carbon Registry System before the closing date.
